The session of Presidium of the Russian Council of Shopping centers took place on April 27, 2010. Roman Skorokhodov, the president of Watcom | Group, was selected for the Presidium of RCSC by a majority of votes.

The Russian Council of Shopping centers (founded in June, 2002) is the professional organization of managing directors, developers, architects, marketing experts, owners of SC and operators of retail trade, a public catering and services. Today’s main objective of RCSC is to contribute to the increase of investments in the retail real estate by means of the most modern trade technologies, increase of the market information transparency, growth of its participants’ professional level.

We would remind you that together with the Russian Council of Shopping centers the company Watcom | Group acted as the organizer of the National System of Shopping Centers Classification. As a member of expert council there were the following companies invited: Colliers International, Jones LangLaSalle, Larry Smith International, Immoeast, Sberbank of Russia, managing company “Manezhnaya Square”, “Technosila”, “Don-stroy“, managing company “RMS”, X5 Retail Group.
